Please join us to learn from, Freedom From Hunger, a 2013 NetHope-Visa Innovation Grant winner, about their work in Ecuador to introduce a health care credit card that helps poor families manage health care costs.

The health credit card improved access to health services for 5,882 poor families enabling greater and earlier access to appropriate, local and referred health care providers, and improved their capacity to protect health and financial assets.

Freedom from Hunger will share its approach to evaluating the e-payment options, creating partnerships with local financial intuitions and developing a training curriculum for new credit card consumers.

The NetHope-Visa innovation Grant program has awarded over $1 Million in funding to NGOs for innovative use of e-payments since 2013.
