NetHope Receives Google.org Grant

NetHope is honored to be one of several recipients of $30 million made possible by Google.org. As a result of this award, we are excited to be able to offer subgrant funding to nonprofits who can advance their missions of addressing the needs of vulnerable communities through the use of phones, tablets, and other hardware and training.

In January 2017 we will provide further details on the “NetHope 2017 Device Challenge” program, including how we will collect proposals, evaluate them, and distribute subgrants to finance devices to be distributed by organizations working with these most vulnerable populations, including women and girls, who often struggle most to get the resources, education and opportunities they deserve.
