Hesperian Images Launches

Today Hesperian Health Guides announced the full-service launch of Hesperian Images, a searchable online database containing all Hesperian images from each of Hesperian's 20 titles, available for easy purchase and download. Images can also be cropped, adjusted, and downloaded in a variety of file formats so that they are useful for any type of resource or material that you are working on.

Hesperian’s books clearly illustrate health-related issues in great detail, making them accessible across languages and literacy levels. The images can be used to illustrate everything from first aid to maternal health, hygiene to vaccines, and home remedies to modern medicines. Hesperian Images have been used to create health training materials, health curriculum, presentations, flyers, posters, flipcharts, and many other tools to support health education.

Hesperian Images has been tested by more than 1000 users over the past year.

Explore Hesperian Images today! They offer discounted bulk prices, which are recommended to organizations and institutions who plan to use images for educational materials or curriculum development. Email images@hesperian.org for more information on pricing. They will also respond to requests for free images from community health workers and educators who cannot afford to pay, similar to Hesperian's Gratis Books Program.
