NetHope Latin America Chapter

The NetHope Latin America Chapter met for the first time in Bogotá, Colombia in June of 2015. The group identified collaboration, transparency, commitment and ethics as the group’s core principles. In addition, it was determined that in the coming year the chapter’s focus should be:

  1. ICT4D
  2. Infrastructure & Connectivity
  3. Core systems
  4. Capacity building
  5. Funding, alliances and grants management
  6. Emergency response

There are monthly calls and two in-person meetings per year.

The next meeting will be May 2-4 in Guatemala City, Guatemala. This meeting will include a one day workshop, Influencing Stakeholders, led by the Frontier Academy.
